Process Post: Project #8

My goals for this piece were using my own reference photos and craft. I did use my own reference photos for the cats! They are my neighbors cats when they were kittens! However I am a little worried about my second goal because I do not have nearly as much time on this project when compared to my other projects due to AP testing. Since I usually spend a lot of time at home to get my projects where I want them to and improve my craft, I am a little worried that I won't be able to finish this project because I am going to be studying for AP testing and have a lot of other assessments instead of painting. Its okay it will probably all work out in the end, so it is fine. I like how this piece is going so far even though I don't have much done yet. I think I am going to continue my theming of odd one out by either adding wings to the "dead" cat or to the other two cats watching (there are supposed to be two cats watching but I haven't drawn the other one lol). I want to represent isolation to destruction in a sense from the two kittens watching being together over the other one without any attention to help. It is also supposed to represent this behavior at a young age because they are kittens. I'm excited to do what I can on this painting, but still pretty worried that I won't finish in time due to the pushed up due date. I love painting these little kittens though!!
