Process Post, December: In-Class Project

My goals for this project are to work on adding more depth and add more detail to my work. I have not painted much right now; I just painted some base colors for the land/background. I am excited to start working on the cows because I am doing a really interesting light source that I have not done before. The two cores in the foreground/middle ground are both going to be backlit in a sense, which I think will look interesting in the end. I think it might be challenging to get the style right with this lighting, but it will be worth it in the end! In the next class, I think I am going to start finally working on the cow in the foreground, and I am excited! I am still planning on adding beading to this piece through the light cast by the "UFO" lifting the cow! I am excited to keep working on this piece, and it has been very fun so far!
