Process Critique: Project #5

I have not decided on the title for this project, and I have mostly worked on the sketch. I have now started painting. I decided the light source would be coming from the upper/flying goat to create a more interesting light source. Along with this, I have not decided if I want to add an abstract part in the clouds where the goat is flying out. I think this will be a decision I make later on after more of the piece is done, and I think it could also be an interesting way to incorporate the beads. I am very excited about this piece, and I plan on including a lot more detail and interesting landscape aspects to make it more interesting than my other pieces. I have started laying down the base colors to figure out more of the shapes and, eventually, the lighting and detail, but at the moment, I think my piece is looking good, and I also really enjoy how the rock on the right is adding a sense of framing to the entire piece. I like how the composition of the piece is turning out, and I am glad I took a process critique to put more effort into my sketch and composition so my painting process goes easier. Also, the medium is just acrylic paint and beads like all my other pieces.
