Oil Painting Process #2

I think that I am off to a pretty good start with this painting, and I like the direction it is going. While I know I am a rather slow painter, and should probably work on moving just a little faster, I think I am doing pretty well at the moment. I like how the shell is turning out, and can't wait to work on the rest of the objects next class. This is only my first Grisaille underpainting pass, and the main thing I am worrying about is my time management because while it is important to try to get it is accurate as possible, I also need to take in the fact that we have limited time. Along with this, I do think I need to clean up my brush strokes a little and make them less noticeable. I think while I am struggling with form a little bit, and perspective I am getting better at it. This painting is looking like it's going to take a while, but I cannot wait to keep working on it!
