This was such an interesting lecture and Dan Kanach showed me a different point of view that artists have on their world and their jobs along with how they do art. I have never really looked much into graphic design, animation, or any sort of art on the digital side of things. I have always found it interesting, but I have never gotten the chance to invest my time into it. I liked seeing all of his animations, the jokes within the work that make it a little more fun, and how he enjoys his job with animation. I think that is something that is not talked about enough, in today's world not enough people enjoy their jobs, and he showed me how there is still hope out there. You just have to do something you love and something you love learning about, so every day at your job feels like a new experience that adds value to your life. I appreciated how he discussed that time management is important to artwork and anything around your life because it allows for balance, and to find more happiness in what you are doing. I did love how he talked about his career path because everyone has a different path to finding what you truly love to do, and it is good to experiment. Finally, I liked how he discussed that we should keep participating because that is such an important value to have. Being talented is one thing, but participating in things with your art gets your art known and allows you to form new bonds with others.
