2nd Home Project Planning

I have just started planning out my home project for this semester, and I think I want to do geese this time, and I have found a lot of good reference photos for what I might do. I think I am going to do a dusk/night scene this time like I did in my cow painting with a similar back-lighting technique because I really liked doing it and I think it is pretty fun. Right now my idea has to do with a pond/swamp landscape with two geese in the left close together with another goose on the right falling "dead" in a sense but using that as the lighting source almost like a meteor. I kinda want to do almost an orange lighting for this as an undertone which I think could be fun; I'm not sure yet tho. I want to improve on my actual painting of animals and get the details in it. I haven't decided if I am going to use beads or not in this piece , but I will decide, I think it could be fun to include subtle smaller beading in the plants to the side in a way to guide the eye towards the main goose, but I am not sure . I am overall pretty excited for this piece and I need to figure out the exact size canvas that I want.
